You really like mathematics? This is good for you may be. Not many people like it. Mathematic always related to complicated, headache and trouble in calculation. If you have one or more homework in your math subject, you can use your mobile phone to solve it.
Yes, you can directly use your mobile phone to solve the equation problem. You can just type the equation, may be several equations and get the critical points, derivative and also solution for your equations. You can do all of mathematical function and calculation only with your mobile phone.
May be you still confuse how can your mobile phone help you? Well now you can use your mobile phone as your graphical calculator. You can install GraphViewer application in your mobile phone. This GraphViewer initially is a graphical calculator that suitable for your mobile phone.
What are the features? well actually this graphical calculator has lots of features. You can easily type the function that you want to plot and evaluate; you can see also the derivate of that function. You can also insert multiple functions and evaluate directly. This graphical calculator will show you the graph with different colors that represent each function. This calculator will calculate up to 15 decimals, it means you will get more accurate result. You can also save your result so you can use it another time. Now mathematic is easy for you.

NEW! Opera Mini 4.1
Guys, Opera Software just launched the Opera Mini 4.1 at Oslo, Norway. This famous browser that is compatible with almost all handset is available at no cost. The new version of the award-winning browser has some advantages compared to its predecessor the Opera Mini 4.0. They repackage all the great features, offering a better mobile Internet experience.
Other than boasting all the great features of the old, version 4.1 of Opera Mini also offers the following new features:
• Up to 50% faster than Opera Mini 4.0
• Automatically suggested URL completions for easier and more intuitive address input
• Web pages can be saved for later off-line viewing (!)
• Quick access to the word or phrase you want in Web pages
• Images, ringtones and other content can be downloaded without leaving Opera Mini
Offline viewing of web pages takes the cake here, in my opinion. So if you’re feeling like upgrading your mobile phone to a great new browser, the time has come.
You can download Opera Mini 4.1 here

Skype for Your Mobile (beta)
Skype has released a Java client for mobile phones, compatible with S60 and UIQ devices. While the application looks like a "normal" Skype client known from PC or Windows Mobile, it is not a true VoIP solution as it uses the mobile network (rather than the Internet) to make and receive calls. This means that in addition to your Skype credit, you will also be charged by your network operator for a local call. Call quality is not that great, either, but it's just a beta version so things may get better. To try it yourself, visit http://www.skype.com/m.
* Works on almost 50 handsets, with a data plan.
* Costs just a little to make and receive calls.
* See when your contacts are online.
* Instant message or call them using Skype.
* Save on mobile calls to friends and family overseas.
Skype for your mobile is a mini, beta version of Skype that you can download on to your mobile. You don’t need to switch operators or get a specialised phone. The software is free – although there might be a small data charge from your operator if you download it straight to your mobile.
Contacts in your pocket
With your Skype contacts on your mobile, you’ll always know when your friends are online. Call them from the bus, check their presence from the park, or send an instant message while you’re sipping a latte in your favourite coffee shop – wherever they are in the world.
Talk or instant message
You can call or instant message any of your contacts who are using Skype on their computer or mobile device, including the 3 Skypephone. You can even start a group chat just like you would on your computer, so you can organise party plans from the comfort of your couch or co-ordinate fancy dress direct from the costume shop.
Will it work in my country?
In this beta version, anyone can receive calls, instant message and see who’s online. If you want to call phones, mobiles, or any of your Skype contacts, this is limited to people in Brazil, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Sweden and UK.

Nokia PC Phone
Nokia Beta Labs has released a new application, Nokia PC Phone. Nokia PC Phone is an experimental service that gives you a possibility to use your mobile phone with your Web Browser. An interesting concept, the application lets users to access their contacts, phone log, image gallery, text messaging and more remotely. The only pre-requisite is Internet connectivity on both the PC and the mobile device. Users can even invite their friends to share pictures and blogs online.
You can communicate by using Nokia PC Phone with your friends and family even though they don't have the Nokia PC Phone themselves. Your friends are not able to tell the difference whether you are using the Nokia PC Phone or not, because your calls and text messages are actually made from your own Nokia phone.
Installation instructions
Please go through the Nokia PC Phone installation instructions step by step. It is very easy and fast.
The application works pretty responsive and fast, considering that our phone was tethered to an EDGE network. One interesting feature is camera, which sends a request to the phone to click a picture. When the user clicks one and hits send, the pic is sent to the browser front-end in real-time. During our tests, there was a lag of less than a minute between the time we clicked the picture and its appearance on the PC’s browser. Even browsing the phone’s gallery was quick and makes online sharing of media pretty simple. Now let’s see how Nokia will evolve this unique application into something big.

WidSets - A Window to The Web in Your Mobile
I just found another Nokia E90 blog, and read a good articel about Widset. This is worth to read for every Nokia E90 owners.
"When I first heard about WidSets, I must admit I could not understand what it was. From a short description that I read, I understood that WidSets was an application that would deliver web content to a Java-enabled mobile phone.
Sounds pretty nice but not too exciting. However, within a minute after I had installed the WidSets client on my Nokia E90, I felt why it was difficult to understand what WidSets was about. Simply, you cannot imagine an existance of such an innovative and powerful application for a mobile phone.
Again, it is quite difficult to see the full potential of WidSets until you actually use the application. To put simply, WidSets gives you access to many web communities, web applications and a lot of content and all this is delivered right on your mobile phone. Email, RSS, different games, Twitter, weather forecasts, currency exchange and stock tickers and many other applications exist as Widgets for WidSets. While you may have some of that functionality in stand alone applications (e.g. email client, RSS reader) on high end smartphones, unique thing about WidSets is that you access all these functions in a single application.
The WidSets client application does not do much itself. It hosts different Widgets, which deliver almost inexhaustible functionality. Installing new Widgets is a breeze. In 10 seconds I updated my status on Twitter, checked local weather, read news headlines, checked e-mail and played Sudoku.
Experience on E90's large internal screen was absolutely fantastic. However, as long as the application is developed in Java, it works with a wide range of devices.
Now it's time to stop reading this post and get to action. Download WidSets client and get ready for the rock n' roll."

Different wallpapers on Internal and External Screen
After some testing, AVR4000 my-symbian forums member has found a way to use different wallpapers on the internal and external screen of the E90. This tip requires Best Profiles but it works perfect. I have noticed that if you set a wallpaper for the offline profile in BP it stays on the internal screen after switch to another profile while the outer screen shows the wallpaper set for that profile.
The steps is as follows:
1. Install Best Profiles 1.01.
2. Start the program, select the offline profile.
3. Select advanced settings.
4. Select a picture as wallpaper for this profile.
5. After these steps, select another profile and repeat steps 3-4.
6. When this is done, select "activate Best Profiles" if this isn't done.
7. Select the offine profile in BP.
8. Select another profile in BP.
voila: you have now the picture from the offline profile on the inner screen and the picture from the active profile on the outer screen.
This procedure with switching to the offline and then to another profile must be done every time the user switch to another theme. Otherwise the same wallpaper will be used on both screens.

Coming Soon, New Nokia E90 Firmware!
With so many problems in current Nokia E90 firmware, this is a very good news for every E90 owner!. Nokia have just updated the E90 "software updater" in preperation for a big firmware upgrade. Well, they have not yet released the firmware that will include the AGPS. The version 07.24.0.3 is still the current firmware, and the new version will be 07.38.0.2. As per allaboutsymbian.com the firmware will only come out in the first week of october..
The next firmware version will undoubtedly support A-GPS. In the firmware version 12 for the N95, this considerably reduced the lock time for the GPS receiver. New Nokia map has some good feature too. Unfortunatelly not many information I could get for this new firmware.
Jonmorris, my-symbian.com forum member have just returned from a London event with Nokia (where they launched the very impressive E51) and got speaking about the E90 firmware. The new firmware with A-GPS is now done, but it won't go out to the public for a couple of weeks. The only way to get it done at the moment is internally at Nokia. I presume this means they're still doing some final testing, but other improvements will be in the form of an updated version of QuickOffice.

Conversation: Threaded SMS by Nokia
Nokia Beta Labs has released a very well awaited application that puts native threaded SMS abilities in your Nokia device.
Conversation is a messaging application that allows you to follow your conversations, organized by individual contacts. In addition, the application provides an easy way for replying to messages, and to continue the conversations.
What I find cool about this is that it integrates with your contact list. As Tommi informs, once the application is installed it appears in 2 spots. As a standalone app in your applications folder and in your contact list.
For more info, see Tommi's post. Also please remember to leave feedback on the Beta Labs site or on Tommi's blog.
Tommi Vilkamo of S60 Blogs has scored what must be the most exciting and stimulating job at Nokia, as the General Manager of Nokia Beta Labs.
Congratulations Tommi, you have already improved a great concept. I expect many, many more exciting new applications, services and ideas to come out of Nokia Beta Labs.
The latest addition to Nokia Beta Labs is a threaded SMS application called - Conversations. The lack of a built in threaded SMS application in Series 60, especially the Nokia Eseries devices, has been my pet peeve.
Nokia creating a threaded SMS application is a great step forward. The application is integrated with the address book, it creates an additional tab where all your conversations are stored. The application is easy to use and if the text is too long to be displayed on the screen the message text will automatically scroll so that you can easily read the message.
Thanks Nokia for listening to your requests!!!

Nokia Maps Application Upgraded
Ok Nokia E90 users, It's time to upgrade your Maps application. Nokia introduced a new version of its widely popular Nokia Maps, an application for routing from A to B in an earth browsing experience that allows you to zoom in from the globe to a desired destination.
It is free to download from the website of the Finnish company but at this stage the amount of compatible phones is rather limited. These include a number of N-series models as Nokia N70, Nokia N72, Nokia N73, Nokia N76, Nokia N93i as well as the company's flagship Nokia N95, naturally. The owners of the two messengers Nokia E61 and Nokia E61i as well as those of Nokia E65 and Nokia E90 will also be able to enjoy the benefits of the updated Maps application. The only two devices outside the N and E series mobiles that support the new version are Nokia 6110 navigator and Nokia 6120 classic. We are yet to see if more phones are going to be added to this list by the Nokia developers.
The Nokia Maps application itself is improved by a new streamlined user interface and a data download counter to help tracking the used data. A highly appreciable GPS status indicator is the final extra in the new pack. Not a bad effort at all, having in mind that only about six months have passed since the initial version was released. The bad news is that voice turn-by-turn navigation is still charged, but with the new version the application is available free three-day trial. This should be fine for a user to put Nokia Maps application on a test and decide whether it does well and is worthy buying.
The Map Loader application, which allows the maps to be uploaded to the device, is also enhanced with voice guidance files, enabled for upload. Other than that, Nokia claims the upgraded software is up to 10 times faster than the original version. The extended map coverage has now grown to 150 countries, with more than 50 of them navigable.

MessageTones Review
im92109210, my-symbian site supporter has nice review about Message Tones Application. This is a very small but quite useful application. What it manages to do is, create different ring tones for incoming messages depending on contacts, groups and profiles the users select.
This software does have a good important feature which is not available on board the system’s profile settings. It is easy to use. The tip feature at the start is annoying but thankfully it could be turned off, I just wish it was turned off from the beginning. Another observation is the about page was not developed with the E90 in mind.
The program is good and does not mess up. I tested this by trying to apply two different ring tones to a profile, a group and a contact and every one gave me an error popup claiming the user already has a tone set.
Experience: The program is very stable although at installation there was a few times where the installation failed, but that is probably just the connection between the phone and the PC Suite. The tips feature is annoying but can be turned off, easy to use and works well without it needing to be running. I found it useful, for example when I am driving and the phone is in a case or in a pocket with the tone I could somehow identify if it would be from work or friends, etc which could come in handy. This program runs right under 12$ which seems fine, but since they have the ability to access the profiles section, I wish the program could take it a step further with customized tones, reactions, vibration, etc in general not just for messages. The program was good, but I would rate it a 6/10 only, it still requires a good amount of developing and improving.
Update: To get this application to work the user is required to set MessageTones.wav as their primary message tone in profiles, which is irritating. Even more since the tips page has heaps of tips but does not mention this. (Thanks Kennyboy)
The program tested was a trial and not a full version although it was fully functional.

Wikipedia for Nokia E90 and Other S60 Phones
Most of us are familiar with Wikipedia -- it's one of the best free resources available online. There's already a Plucker version available but that's only meant for Palm devices and has a small selection of encyclopedia articles, so Series 60 users are out of luck there. There's also a Tome Raider version but the usual incompatibility woes persist and it isn't exactly small-sized.
Sadly, there hasn't been anything worthwhile in this regard for S60 users. However, all that will soon change. Series-sixty owner decided to do something about this problem, and starting from today, you can find Wikipedia for your S60 phone! :)
Thanks to series-sixty for great job! Wikipedia the biggest encyclopedia can be downloaded on any symbian S60 series devices.
Following are some of the features available:
- Approximately 2050 full-length articles, and over 3.5 million words (equivalent to a 4,000+ page book in text alone)
- Storage Card & Phone Memory Compatibility
- Keyword Search
- Adjustable font sizes and styles
- Cross Reference Links - tap on a link to easily go to the related article
- An easy-to-use alphabetical index for all articles
- Compatibility with ALL S60 devicesFurther details can be found over at series-sixty . Yes! The best part is that it's compatible with ALL S60 phones! And there's Search and an alphabetical index too!!
Well, the online version is more preferable and current. But you must also acknowledge the fact that if you can't get online due to some reason (e.g no reception while travelling or have no cellphone internet connection at all) and need to read up something or research, an offline encyclopedia is very convenient!
Although there are many capable ebook readers around, series-sixty choose iSilo over any other reader just because of its versatility and ease of use. Mobipocket, although very versatile, does not handle pdb files unfortunately.

JabpLite: Free Personal Finance Software
Freepoc just released JabpLite version 1.30, which contains a number of improvements specifically for E90 users. The program now makes better use of the E90's wide screen and resizes correctly between the internal and external screens.
For those who haven't tried the program, here are a few details. JabpLite is FreEPOC's freeware personal finance program, written in Java. It runs on a wide range of phones and has a wide range of functions including:
* Multiple accounts: Bank, Cash, Credit Card, Asset, Liabilities
* Income/expense categories
* Investments
* Standing orders (aka scheduled transactions)
* Multiple currencies
The program includes includes Net Worth calculations, Future Balance predictions and much more. Importing from & exporting to standard QIF/CSV files is possible through JabpLite's sister program JabpFile. It is also easy to import data into Jabp (also freeware) which runs on a range of devices including Windows and Mac.
update: Freepoc have been doing further work to increase the speed of JabpLite on the E90 - particularly when scrolling in the Transaction View and Standing Order View. I don't think it will be super-quick, but hopefully it will be good enough.
Download the attached file and rename to JabpLite.jar before copying to your E90 and installing.
